Emraan Hashmi is a Bollywood actor who has appeared in over 50 films. He is best known for his roles in the films Raaz, Murder, and The Dirty Picture. Hashmi has also received critical acclaim for his performances in the films Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Jannat, and Raaz 3D.
Hashmi was born in Mumbai, India on March 24, 1979. He is the son of actor Anupam Kher and brother of actress Sikander Kher. Hashmi began his career as an assistant director on the film Kuch Naa Kaho (2003). He made his acting debut with the film Footpath (2003). Hashmi’s performance in the film was praised by critics and he went on to star in a number of successful films.
Some of Hashmi’s most popular films include Murder (2004), The Dirty Picture (2011), Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai (2010), Jannat (2008), and Raaz 3D (2013). Hashmi has received several awards for his work, including the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut and the IIFA Award for Best Supporting Actor.
