Shah Rukh Khan is going to make a Cameo appearance in the movie. It will be the debut Hindi movie of Naga Chaitanya. Laal Singh Chaddha has been filmed in more than 100 Indian locations. Initially scheduled for a Christmas 2020 release but it was delayed owing to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The film is scheduled for release on 11 August 2022.
