Which members of The Beatles are still alive?

Beatles

The Beatles were the OG of country, rock, and pop music. A musical gang was formed in Liverpool with four Beatles members, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, in 1960. Initially, there were several names such as The Silver Beetles, The Quarrymen or Fab Four, and finally The Beatles.

How did The Beatles members form?

Originally it started with Lennon as guitarist and McCartney as bassist. They initially played American rock and roll in 1957 in Liverpool despite being self-taught musicians. Then they decided to add more members to their original duo cast, and in 1957, Harrison joined The Beatles as a lead guitarist. And fourth and the last member to join the gang was Starr in 1962 as a drummer

Reasons for the break up of The Beatles

There is no specific reason for The Beatles to break apart. It was a combination of lots of factors. The Beatle’s manager Brain Epstein’s death in 1967, McCartney’s arrogant behavior towards other gang members, Lennon’s involvement with drugs (precisely heroin) and affair with Yoko Ono, Harrison’s addiction to writing songs, the process struggle of getting Back album later named as Let It Be were some of the cumulative attributions of The Beatles break up.

The Beatles are incredibly the most famous rock band in the world. The Beatles had passed decades of countless shows, top-listed hits, and huge fan crowds after the official break up of the musical gang in 1970. The lead singer of The Beatles was killed right in front of his New York building. The tragic death of the former musician was a fan obsession. 40-year-old Lennon was returning with his wife after a long recording studio session when he got shot by Mark David Chapman outside the Dakota Apartment. It was a pre-planned murder tragic, as Chapman was waiting outside Lennon’s apartment way before his arrival.

Harrison was known as the quiet Beatles of The Beatles, and it was an unfortunate loss for the music industry when he was diagnosed with cancer in his early 50s. He continued his treatment but sadly got cancer in his throat, lungs, and brain later. Eventually, after a long medical treatment, he died in Los Angeles at age 58 on November 29, 2001.

Third Beatles member and only drummer Richard Starr are now 81 years old. He is considered to be the world’s wealthiest drummer. Starr is still creating music and touring around the world.

Fourth and the most famous among other Beatles members is Paul MacCartney, who continued as a solo musician and played other music genres. Now at 79, MacCartney still plays and goes on world tours.
