Spider-Man: Homecoming is a 2017 American Film. The genre of the movie is superhero fantasy. The film is based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. Jon Watts is the director of the movie. The producers of the movie are Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios. The distribution of the movie is handled by Sony Pictures Releasing. It is the official second Spider-Man film reboot. It is the 16th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is written by the writing teams of Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, Watts and Christopher Ford, and Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.  Spider-Man: Homecoming premiered in Hollywood on June 28, 2017. The film has two official sequels with the same cast. The two sequels have been released: Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).
